STOPGAP P131 – General-Purpose Floor Primer
STOPGAP P131 is a versatile flooring primer designed to improve the adhesion of STOPGAP smoothing compounds on both absorbent and smooth, non-absorbent subfloors. Its green pigment provides clear coverage control, while the fast-drying formula helps flooring contractors prepare surfaces efficiently before applying levelling compounds or flooring adhesives.

Suitable Surfaces
STOPGAP P131 can be used on concrete, sand and cement screeds, plywood, hardboard and flooring-grade chipboard. It is also suitable for prepared non-absorbent surfaces, including terrazzo, ceramic and quarry tiles, power-floated concrete, sound asphalt, STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes and firmly bonded resin coatings.
Approximate Coverage
- Up to 100m² when diluted for absorbent subfloors
- Up to 50m² when applied neat to non-absorbent subfloors
Always prepare the subfloor correctly and follow the manufacturer’s dilution and application instructions.
