ARDEX K 40 HB is a versatile, fibre-reinforced levelling compound that prepares subfloors in a single pass—from 3 mm up to 40 mm thickness—ensuring excellent flow and smooth finishes, even at maximum depth.

Thanks to its rapid drying, the compound becomes walkable in just 2 hours, reducing site disruption, and allows ceramic tiles to be laid after 2 hours and resilient floor coverings such as LVT or timber after 6 hours over 5 mm applications—or 48 hours when laid at full depth.

Featuring an extended 30-minute working time, trowel marks flatten easily, and joins can be spiked for a flawless finish. The fibre reinforcement enhances flexibility and strength, making it compatible with underfloor heating systems and suitable for both commercial and residential installations.
