Crain 161 Carpet Spreader
Crain 161 Carpet Spreader is a notched spreader made from flexible steel. It is used to press and hold carpets in the gully at the gripper rods whilst the main body of the carpet being stretched is released. This causes the carpets backing to set better onto the pins of the gripper. The blade of the spreader is also flexible enough to be used in tight spaces. The handle is plastic and ergonomically contoured.
