Crain 302 Carpet Trimmer | Cushion Lock Cutter
Crain 302 Carpet Trimmer designed for use on foam/cushion backed carpets. This cutter works best on loop pile carpets or thick Berber and has a front guide to help follow the carpets rows.. The offset blade clamp allows fast blade depth adjustment. The soft grip handle provides comfort and control. For best results trim with the nap of the sweep of the carpet (In the direction of). Beginning at a starting point on the left side of the seam, trim with the left blade down and in the direction of the nap sweep. Return to the same starting point on the right side of the carpet and again trim with the left blade down in the same direction. This procedure simulates a factory spacing of the rows within most carpets. When possible trim both edges as close as possible to the carpet tufts. Takes slotted blades.
