STOPGAP ISOLATOR MEMBRANE is an impervious laminated loose lay sheet designed to act as a moisture barrier over damp subfloors or floors that cannot be prepared using traditional methods due to surface contamination.
This high-performance membrane creates a stable sub-base for installing a variety of floorcoverings, including vinyl, linoleum, and rubber sheet flooring. The loose lay system allows easy removal of floorcoverings without damaging the original floor surface.
The underside is engineered with nodules that form an airspace, enabling ventilation of water vapour from damp subfloors to a dry wall or ventilated skirting. Multiple sheets can be laid in large areas by simply butt jointing.
