STYCCOBOND F49 is a high-performance, temperature-tolerant, water-based pressure sensitive adhesive formulated for bonding vinyl floorcoverings in areas exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations. Its dual-component hybrid chemistry ensures a strong initial tack and durable bond, even in challenging environments like conservatories and sunlit rooms.

  Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS is an ideal solution for installations requiring a resilient adhesive capable of withstanding challenging temperature conditions while providing strong, lasting adhesion for vinyl floorcoverings.

  
  

  Mixing Instructions:

  1. Mix Only Full Packs: Ratios are critical; do not mix partial quantities.

  2. Combine Components: Empty the entire contents of the PS Activator container into the Base container.

  3. Initial Mixing: Using a power whisk attached to a slow-speed electric drill, mix until a uniform colour and consistency are achieved.

  4. Scrape and Continue Mixing: Scrape the sides of the container and mix for an additional 2–3 minutes to ensure thorough blending.

  Application Instructions:

  1. Subfloor Preparation: Ensure the subfloor is structurally sound, smooth, dry, and free from contaminants.

  2. Apply Adhesive: Using a STYCCOBOND FINE NOTCH (A1) trowel, spread the adhesive evenly over the subfloor at a 60° angle.

  3. Drying Time: Allow the adhesive to dry to a tacky film before installing the floorcovering. Drying time is approximately 20 minutes, depending on temperature, humidity, and subfloor absorbency.

  4. Install Floorcovering: Lay the floorcovering into the adhesive, pressing from the centre outwards to exclude air and ensure overall contact.

  5. Roll the Floorcovering: Use a 68kg flooring roller to roll the floorcovering from end-to-end and side-to-side. Re-roll as necessary to maintain contact.
