STOPGAP 1400 is a professional two-component, high-flow smoothing compound designed to create a smooth and level subfloor before installing LVT, vinyl, carpet and other floor coverings. Its excellent self-smoothing properties make application easier while helping flooring contractors achieve a consistent, high-quality finish with minimal additional preparation.

It can be applied over prepared concrete, sand and cement screeds, calcium sulphate screeds, terrazzo, ceramic tiles, sound asphalt, resin surfaces, minimal adhesive residues and STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes. The fast-setting system is suitable for domestic, commercial, new-build and refurbishment flooring projects.

Mixing and Coverage

Mix one 20kg bag of STOPGAP 1400 powder with 4.5 litres of STOPGAP 1400 Liquid. One complete mixed unit covers approximately 5.9m² at 2mm thickness, depending on the subfloor and application conditions.
