Stopgap 1600 is a high-performance, fibre-reinforced smoothing compound designed for internal floor refurbishment in both domestic and commercial settings. Supplying a smooth, durable surface under LVT, carpet, or other finishes, it works over concrete, sand/cement screeds, waterproof membranes, and compatible with both electric and water-fed underfloor heating systems.

• Ready for light foot traffic in just 3 hours; floorcoverings can be installed after approximately 12 hours when applied at 3-5 mm thickness. 

• Applies in a single layer from 3 mm up to 40 mm, allowing for thick or thin repairs without multiple layers.

• Supplied as a pre-blended powder formulation—just add water; low odour and protein-free, making it suitable for sensitive environments. 

• Excellent dimensional stability, ensuring long-term performance without curling or shrinkage.
