 Applications for/on:

• new or old cement smoothing compounds
• existing substrates with well-bonded, waterproof residues of adhesives and levelling compounds

• large and small format tiling and natural stone
• dry screed materials, chipboard and OSB boards
• all standard construction screeds, concrete or other substrate types
• also for use as a ”low-slump smoothing compound” on old adhesive residues and for smoothing out to a feather-edge
• heavy wear in domestic and commercial locations
• warm water underfloor heating systems
• exposure to castor wheels in accordance with DIN EN 12 529
• as a system component in high-speed construction

Application methods

Rapid setting feather coat for repair, filling and patching. Can be used on a variety of substrates to repair subfloor imperfections prior to installation of most flooring products. UZIN NC 888 S has very fine aggregates enabling it to be applied by trowel to a true feather edge. It has excellent bonding properties to plywood, concrete, ceramic tile, terrazzo, and old non-water soluble adhesive residues without the use of a primer. It is quick drying cement which allows for most floor coverings to be installed within 15 minutes on absorbent substrates. UZIN NC 888 S is an ideal material for repairing minor imperfections, holes, trowel marks, skim coating and ramping. It can be applied by trowel from a true feather edge up to 4 mm depth in a single application.
